Vodacom
Bad service in regards to replacing a lost cell

Telecommunications

I was on a bussiness trip last week over seas and lost my cellphone. On my return on friday I went to the Vodacom shop in centurion mall to replace the phone. The following transpired:

I was informed that the phone will need to be black listed which was done. However the sales clerk who assisted me had to be told by her senior that the reference I need to go with to the police station would take 24 hours. She said I don't need to come into the stores but can phone in. Now my logic tells me IF I am there to replace my phone I DON'T have another number. Anyway I went back on saterday got the reference went to the police station got the case number. Went back to the shop finish filling in the form. she faxed it and then only (Once again her senior informed me) that the claim would probably only be done on monday (today).

As is now my clients and employers struggle to get in contact with me. I have phoned the shop to be informed that they do not do the claims and I need to phone 082 1952. I have tried a few times, not able to get agent on the line to contact.

I feel being a loyal customer for 9 years the service should be better.

someone please help!!
