Dont know how many complaints i need to post about telkoms service or lack of it. I asked them to change my 2 meg line to a 4 meg and waited almost 2 months. Numerous orders was canceled by TELKOM because of "distance " issue. After 2 months i got someone on the line that said they couldnt understand why the orders was cancelled because i can get a 4 meg line or maybe even a 10 meg. I asked her to switch it over to 10 meg so we could c what was gonna happen. I was at work when they switched the line and when i got home i tested the line and saw that the line was running at 1.2meg. I phoned in and they said to me they would bring it down from a 10 meg to a 4 meg just to c what the line would run at. After switching it to 4meg the line was still 1.2 meg. They said to me that there was a fault somewhere and that i should get a technician out to test the line and when he fixes the line and the line runs at 4 meg that i should phone back and then they would switch it back to 10 meg again to c what the line would do. I then started testing my equipment and found a filter that was faulty.the line is running 4 meg now but NOW they cant switch it to 10 meg. WHY? "its not a service you apply 4"
