Failure to cancel an expired contract

My contract commitment period has been reached and I opted not to renew my contract. I went to a telkom mobile store to make sure the contract is terminated and does not go on, on a month to month basis. I was informed to contact the call centre. I did so and they informed me to go to a store. Irate at this point I went back to the store and had them phone the call centre and have them fight over who cancels my expired contract. Finally the consultant gave in and captured my cancellation. I would get a call from cancellations within a few days. After a week i called the call centre and my case was unattended to. I asked for this to be followed up. Another week went by and my call was unattended to. Went to a different store and they captured my cancellation yet again. My cancellation has not been attended to nor assigned to anyone in over a month. I instructed my bank not to pay any telkom mobile/8ta debit orders. What am I to do? Do I lodge a complaint at the consumer tribunal?
