I opened up a data contract with Telkom mobile (8ta) over a month ago, after they assured me i would get network coverage in my area (Fourways). I arrived home only to realise that infact i did not get any coverage at all. I went back to the store immediately and informed them of this and they opened a case (599906) since they could not cancel the contract without an investigation. The investigation has dragged on for over a month without any resolution. I have been forced to call the frustrating call centre over a dozen times to open case after case with promises that the matter has been escalated, to no resolve. I have now been informed that the case had been closed however i cannot cancel this contract without some or other authorisation and to obtain this, yes you guessed it, i have to log yet another case. We are now entering a second month of me trying to cancel this contract and we are no closer to a resolution, all the while Telkom did not hesitate to bill me in advance for usage i am yet to enjoy. Oh and they have informed me that to correct the billing i would have to open yet another case but only if the contract is ever cancelled.

Frustrated.
