Adsl, crossed lines and 4 week wait time

So i have had a 4 meg adsl line since 2009, faulty a few times and resolved within a few days or weeks, but this time its an all new record. 4 weeks and counting and still no fix.

Considering i used to sync at 4megs speed for 3 years, i cant accept that Telkom says i should be happy with 1meg due to my distance from exchange.

Each time they do nothing but mark the fault as resolved.

Its gone so bad, that my line now randomly syncs from 500k to 1.2meg. One has to keep reconnecting every half hour to get semi usable speeds. A telkom techie (andile) did some tinkering with the physical line outside the property, and now we overhear other conversations on our line (cross line).

Posting this in the hope that someone at Telkom can get this sorted out.
