Good morning,

REFERENCE: I0608868. I have requested for the banking details to be changed from ABSA to Standard Bank (debit order) for 0824827578 - this were never done. Yesterday morning my wife received an SMS stating that her line will be suspended if we do not make payment soon - we phoned the accounts department (please refer to whom I have spoken as ALL your calls are getting recorded) and explained to the guy that I made an payment and he must make sure that the line does not get suspended - he said he promise that it will not be suspended and that HE (not us) has made an arrangement on the system for the line to be kept active until tomorrow (until we have sorted this matter. Yesterday at 17:15 the line got suspended and we phoned the accounts department again - they were closed and are also today on the public holiday.

My questions is WHY could you put someone at your account`s department that is not capable to do his work properly? He promised the line will not be suspended as HE made a promise to pay tomorrow the 25th of September just to make sure the line does not get suspended. My wife is in a medical profession and access is needed 24/7 with the number applicable.
