On 18th September I received 5 sms's from Cell C stating my phone account was in arrears. I phoned customer care & spoke to someone sounding like Tobi. I asked her if my account was in arrears to which she responded "no". I then asked her why I received 5 sms's to this effect.

She then wanted to do security checks on my account & I told her that I wasn't asking her to change anything on my profile & that there was no need for a security check. Why does Cell C want to waste more of my time? I can understand the need to do security checks only if I wanted to change details on my profile! At the same time, how do I know that the person I was talking to wasn't cleaning staff?

The supervisor didn't have the backbone to speak to me either & Tobi eventually put the phone down on me! How pathetic, Cell C, don't waste my time! Waiting for the time my contract comes up for renewal...
