I have a Blackberry 9790 on contact with MTN. The contact has been running for a year and a half. The phone reboots more that 8 times a day and jumping from one aplication to another without even touching the phone. Went to MTN to do a software update and when I recieved the phone back and switched it one the phone was doing the same as before the update. They then sent in the phone in to there service centre and they confirmed that tyhe phone was unrepairable due to software and must be replaced. They also advised that I need to pay for the faulty phone. I assumend that the warranty would cover a faultt on the phone but was informed due to chips on the cover that they are not going to assist you. Chips on the cover has nothing to do with the software problem and this is totally unacceptable as I now need to suffer for a problem on the phone.
