Everybody that upgraded from a Blackberry to any other phone, please check your statement every month. I just realized that I pay the BBM charges every month, although I upgraded to a Samsung S4. I phoned client services yesterday and they informed me to go to the store where I upgraded. Guess what, it was Vodacom shop in Vodaworld. Today I pitched up at Vodaworld and realised that the Vodacom shop is closed. So I went to Customer Centre. After a loooong wait I spoke to Eva (she was helpful, her Supervisor Promise, not at all). The supervisor, Promise, phoned somebody at the "closed" Vodacom shop. "They could not cancel that service, with my upgrade, because they did not have the right forms. Now a request has been send to them, and then only they will decide whether to refund the money to me, or not.
I am not impressed!!! Somebody WILL REFUND THAT MONEY TO ME!!! According to the Consumer Act, Vodacom is wrong!!! I signed a new contract, please note, a new contract with no permission to Vodacom to bill me the BBM charges!!
