I was so astonished to find out that you get billed for a delivery report.

I called MTN to find out what happens to my sms' as I load bundles but I never complete them, an agent I was speaking to advised that reason being that I've set a delivery report notification, hence any message i send i'm billed twice.

I always thought that a delivery report is a setting on the phone and no network should charge for that. The agent even advised that all networks bill that way, and i called Cell C to find out there is no such. Its either the agent doesn't know what their talking about or MTN is ripping people off.
