Upgrading is painful with cell c

I have been attempting to upgrade my contract since 15 April; the upgrades agent had advised me incorrectly about the handset choice.
I made contact again with the upgrades department after researching more, to correct the handset.
The upgrades agent advised me not to accept the package when the couriers deliver, that the courier would make contact with me before delivery which did not happen.
According to the call centre "Follow up & activation" RAM couriers had attempted to make delivery thrice with the incorrect handset??? I questioned the agent "Kgaugelo Tsele and asked about speaking to her team leader which she said is on lunch. How is there no support for escalations?
There was no call made, not even a sms to notify me of miscalls or voicemail messages. Why is it so difficult to upgrade and remain a customer of cell c with whom I have several contracts? I am a detractor at this point; all I want is customer service and not to be paying for Cell C's up as there is a charge for not accepting the parcel and redelivering the correct phone!
