After a few frustrations with Telkom Mobile, being sent from pillar to post. I wasn't exactly thrilled walking into the store.
Wynand however from the start displayed a great attitude, acknowledged that he knew I was waiting but let me know he needed to finish something. Normally in these cases I find staff tend to avoid eye contact.
He wasn't able to assist right away. But if there was a stumbling block he thought of alternatives. He tried to help wherever he could. Just the week before I was turned out of that same store by a different gentleman not looking very interested to assist.
It was really a pleasure to deal with him, the fact that I made it a point to come and compliment him is testament to that fact. He turned a customer who was a little fed up, to a satisfied one. All due to his willingness to assist and not just say sorry I don't know or you need to contact someone else.
My requirements were not fulfilled, but Wynand's efforts did not go unnoticed and I feel confident that it will be resolved.
