White Iphone 32GB out of stock in all stores??

I went to my local Telkom/ 8ta store yesterday to sign up for a Iphone 32GB R379.00 p/m contract. The sales rep. Regan assisted me and I informed him I would like to get a white device. He informed me their store is out of stock and he would do a search to see which branch has availability.

I went back to the store earlier today and spoke to Regan again and he informed me all the stores nationwide are out of stock. I find this very strange as there are 142 different Telkom/ 8ta stores nationwide.

I feel the sales representative wasn't really interested or didn't try everything in his ability to assist me.

Could someone please shed some light on this matter for me because I am still very interested in the contract.
