This UNISA deal is a mess

I have been trying for more than a week now to get this UNISA deal that Cell C offered through that university activated. First, I applied online in myUNISA as was requested. Then once that was done, as was written in the Terms & Conditions, I sent a mail to the email address there given [URL Removed] CellCresponded to that mail saying I need to activate the product online. BUT I ALREADY HAVE.

So I thought everything is ok. Nope, the deal won't activate on my preexisting, RICA'd SIM. And guess what? The next day someone phones on that number. A data sim number. How am I suppose to answer that? The voicemail she left says I should (wait for it) SEND AN EMAIL TO THE SAME ADDRESS I ALREADY SENT IT TO.

So I did. Again. Giving my details, ID number and cell number.

Again. NOTHING.

I've now tried for two days to get to an actual live person using the 140 call centre but it is absolute DEATH. DEATH. FFS, Cell C. I've paid the money. Give me the goods.
