I have in the past 4 years had an account with mweb, either 4mb, 2mb or 1mb trying to find the best bang for buck account. I first had a 1mb line and account with MWEB at my new residence. Once the lines were changed to support 2mb rather than 4mb at a reduced cost I jumped at the opportunity. When I had my 4mb line at a previous residence I never had a complaint regarding my usage, when I had my 1mb line I also never had a complaint about my usage. From day 1 of the new 2mb line I kept getting emails from MWEB regarding my usage.3 warnings to be precise before they cut me off. After each warning I would send an email asking what the problem was, and every time I get a response that I am using my line too much and I am violating their acceptable use policies. Which they kindly highlight for me in their response emails with the amounts of data that I used. Each time I reduce my usage with a considerable amount after the call and try to stay below their minima (well estimated, as they won't give me a figure) only to find that the next month I get the same email again and the process starts over. I subsequently cancelled my account with Mweb and will never again support this company.
