I bought the special with cell c for R1200 for 2gb of data for 12 months. It seemed like a great special, and i checked with the person i bought it with to make sure my area could receive reception. I was told it could and i shouldn't have any problems. My problem is, i have had it for 2-3 months now, and it still drops every 2-5minutes!! I have phoned numerous times, all call centre agents as helpful as they can be, however none of the "3" solutions work! I spoke with Nomsa yesterday, again we went through the 3 steps, upgrade software (done earlier), reinstall software (done 3 times), manually selected network (done to many times).. after saying i had done this i was then asked to "Please be patient with Cell C as their reception in Gauteng is bad and they are putting up towers." I unfortunately, now have to pay another service provide MTN, for data bundles as they have no problems in this area! Unfortunately R1200 doesnt come with that much patience, and it is only fair that i want my money back as this is extremely terrible service, and bad form to say one thing and deliver another! this great special is in no way great or special at all!
