I opened a Cell C data contract a couple of months ago. Almost from the start there were connection problems. I phoned the call centre and was told they are busy upgrading the network in our area and to wait a week or two.

It's now more than 2 months later, and worse. At this point, every day, from early afternoon until -10pm, there's virtually no data connection. My wife has a voice contract with Cell C, and has the same problem with the data, thus it's a network problem.

Last week I sent a network template form describing the problem with no response thus far. Phoning the call centre is also no help as there's always high call volumes and I don't have 1/2 hour every time to hold on.

Cell C has gone on a major drive to draw customers which is obviously successful, but if this is the result, they (or at least me) are all going to move back to the other (more expensive) networks with no chance of winning them back again.

For now, can someone from Cell C please reply and tell me what the problem is and when it will be fixed.
