MY 3rd Cell C internet 2Gig prepaid stick... since April'13 the stick started giving problems: unable to log in, log in for not longer than 2 minutes max then goes offline... Phone the call centre and was informed that cell c is busy upgrading the towers? Thanx for informing clients! - lost 1.5 gig end April. 2nd Week in May, same problem, nothing changed... phone cell c, then they told me that I must download new software (again thx for letting us know). Did this 4 times with no results, same bad internet connection. Lost another 1Gig end of May! Emailed the customer centre - asking them if they will be crediting my internet account with the gig's I've lost since they worked on the towers... the reply was: you've used your data! Weird scenario as I couldn't log into the internet and on checking my data on 30 April I still had 1.5gig left??? Remember this is a prepaid stick... 2gig/month paid in advance R1499. They already go their $. Then I took my laptop and stick to cell c shop, no luck! They said they will send the tech to my house..no one pitched.. 2 months later? Funny how the 3rd stick don't work but the first 2 did? As I sit here writing the complaint, I had to log in 8 times
