I received a samsung s3 in February as part of my upgrade.
In July the phone's screen stopped working and I took in to Sandton City branch. I was send away for repairs and I was instructed to R1200 to have the phone fixed. I did pay because I didn't know what was wrong with the phone and needed my phone. Later I was informed that even though the phone was still under warranty the phone I had to make the payment because the screen was cracked - which was not true. My phone screen stopped working again shortly afterwards and i was davised that the phone will not be fixed as it has water damage - the phone wasn't even close to water! I submitted a complaint on MTN's website (Req: 2610585) and did receive a response. After two days I phone the call centre and was told that someone would contact me - that still didn't happen. Again, two days later I called the call centre again and was told (very rudely) that complaints submitted on the website are not investigated and that I should rather submit the complaint on hellopeter. Hopefully I'll get some result now!!!
