MTN USELESS service with regard to repairing phone

My iphone 4s is still under the 1 year warranty, the following has occurred:-
1. the button at the top of my phone has broken;
2. the sound on my phone no longer works;
3. I inquired as to repairing my phone at my service provider;
4. they informed me that it would take 2 weeks to repair;
5. they cannot give me a spare phone in the meantime (I will be phone-less);
6; the walk-in repair centre does not have a contact number.
MTN has failed to provide me with a phone that performs in the intended manner or intended effect and has not been usable or durable for a reasonable time having regard to use to which they would normally be put and to all surrounding circumstances. My phone is defective and I have top suffer the consequence of poor service. The people I have spoken with at the call centre are useless. Why does the provider make it the consumer's problem?
I am furious.
