Incredible connection breaks phone while repairing

Bought an iPhone 5 from Incredible Connection in December right after they was released in South Africa. A few month later I dropped my phone and the glass at the back of the phone got a small crack.. Since then I have used it in a pouch for a few more months till the Silent Button for no good reason started to become stiff so I decided to take the phone to Incredible Connection to fix the button even though it still worked 100%.. Off course after waiting more than 2 weeks they send the phone back from the repair centre stating they didn't touch the phone because it was dropped and that caused the problem which would have been fine since it still worked 100% and was a bit of a pain but not the end of the world.

Now the problem.
My phone had a stiff button now the screen doesn't work and have stripes running all over the screen! They broke my phone completely and will cost around R2500 to replace the screen. They stated that the phone was never opened or repaired but if u look at the screws it was clearly opened up so my best guess is that they broke it while repairing the phone and now they don't want to repair it. Is this fair? I want a solution???
