No connection

On Friday 6th I bought a Vodafone modem at Game at wonderpark Pretoria till now Monday Morning the sim doesn't want to connect when I put another sim into the modem it connects so its not my new modem or software its the new sim I have also loaded airtime on the new sim its been ricaed I have the number of the sim but no joy at all with it
