I went into the Vodacom Chatz store in Carnival Mall on Friday 30/08/2013 to open a contract for a Samsung Galaxy S3 and was told it was approved and that they will have my phone on Wednesday 04/09/2013 as it is currently on back order. Wednesday came and I had not heard anything from them. I decided to call only to find that they have no idea where the stock is and asked that I call again after 13:00. I went into the store and called again thereafter only to be told the same thing over and over again. My expectation as a customer would be for someone to contact me informing me of the delay, but instead I had to follow up repeatedly without any positive feedback. The ladies in store had no clue as to what was going on and even asked me, the customer, to call other vodacom stores to source stock. I find this completely unprofessional and just utterly ridiculous. It is now Friday and I have still not received a call saying that my phone is there or any other kind of feedback stating otherwise.
