Cant even take out a contract- USELESS

I have been trying for a week to take out a new contract with no success. Firstly I was told my application was successful and my phone would be delivered within a week. The following week i called in Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday to try find out whats going on. Each day is a different story (cant verify banking details then they had no idea what was going on). I am now told the courier department couldn't get hold of me, yet I have not had one missed call. A week later no phone, no contract and no contact from the porting department.
This makes me wonder if u should take out a contract here because of how useless they have been
