Hi,

My 8ta line was cancelled, so I made a manual payment of R2, 500 on the 25/08/13. I contacted 8ta helpdesk informing them of the payment I just made and they told me that my line will be reconnected within 7 days. Fine, I was okay with that. On the 28/08/13, Telkom deducted 1, 550 from my bank account.

I would like for my money that was deducted to be reimbursed as I already made the necessary payments.
I called 8ta helpdesk and informed them about the situation on the same day. The lady told me to email her my bank statement and my proof of payment [Email Removed] and said that it will take 7 days for my money to be reimbursed. And she told me that the case will be escalated. I have heard no word from her since, I tried calling the 8ta helpdesk again but everytime I call them to find out how far with the situation, they tell me that my situation has been escalated.

Thankfully, my line has been reconnected but what about the money that was deducted? I have heard no news about this, as this is real inconvenience.
