Does the cancellations department exist?!!!

I have been phoning the cancellations department for 3 days now... Every single day I have put my phone on speaker after 5min of waiting for a customer service consultant to help me... Every single time I waited no less than 20MIN!!! and no one answers my call! IS THIS A JOKE? DOES THIS DEPARTMENT ACTUALLY EXIST? Everybody says they cant help me.. I have a financial problem and need to cancel my contract.. I have no other choice than to cancel the debit order from my side then they dont dare charge me for the months I didnt pay cause I tried to contact them and they didnlt answer...

I am sure there is some sort of legal action I can take...
