Won't fix technical fault

Telecommunications

My blackberry bold switches itself off randomly and VERY often. The only way to get it back on is to take the battery out and then reinsert it. Mind you, this is one of the problems with the phone... I took it to my MTN SP in Aucklandpark who then forwarded it the HVRC.

The phone has a scratch on the screen - which does not affect display. Today I received an sms (a whole week and day later) quoting me R1 500 to fix the screen. The sms gives me the option to decline the quote. When I choose to decline, I am informed that because of my decision, my phone will be returned without them even inspecting (let alone attempting to fix) the phone for the original faults I booked it in for. REALLY?

When I asked to speak to the consultant's superviser, she advised me that she is not available and will call me back. Needless to say, the call never came and I called back the second time. I still haven't heard from her. I understand she is in meetings - which is fine by me. However, the consultant's tone and attitude was less than savory to say the least... Surprisingly, MTN call centre agents themselves are uncertain of their policy on this.

Highly annoyed!!
