A Samsung S4 was booked in at the Tokai store for a Samsung warranty assessment 4 weeks ago. The phone was checked for any physical damages with the consultant, myself and husband with no damages noted on the booking sheet.

Two weeks later the phone was returned with a decline from Samsung due to "cosmetic damages" to the phone. The consultant opened the box in our presence where we discovered a dent on the side of the phone. This was then escalated from the consultant to MTN/Samsung and another week passed only to be advised that the phone was repaired for the original faults booked in.

Due to the physical damages to the phone which occurred while the phone was in MTN's possession I refuse to accept the "repaired phone". The phone now has physical damages to it which also includes the back of the phone cover which was never used but removed on the day of purchase. This is totally unacceptable and will be escalated further. I've been without a cell phone for nearly 4 weeks which should have taken 5-7 working days as per the consultant. The service received from both MTN and Samsung is totally pathetic!
