Not truthful and passing the buck

I have a contract with MTN and when I upgraded I was asked if I want insurance and I said yes, I wasn't told I would not be insured for the full market value of my phone (iPhone 5) or even that MTN will not be the one insuring me but a 3rd party. I lost my phone and put in a claim with MTN and I was told I am not insured with them but a 3rd party called 24hr mobility which I have never dealt with and that I need to call them directly, when I did put in a claim with the 3rd party I was told I am under insured as I am only covered for R7, 500.00 while my phone is R9, 000.00 so I will have to pay the difference which is R1, 500.00 on top of the R300.00 excess I am supposed to pay so close to R2, 000.00 if I want my phone replaced.
MTN SP Jabulani Mall act appropriately for not telling me I will not be insured for the full market value of my phone and that I will not be insured by MTN but by a 3rd party.
Now I need MTN to tell me where I am supposed to get R2000.00 lying around to replace my phone as it is their fault I am in this position.
