I recently moved and went to the branch in college square to enquire whether there will be any extra costs relating to the moving of my line, to which I got the reply that it is free because I am under contract with them. The following month I got an account saying that there are service fees to the value of R618.18 which is due with my next payment, and so I went back to the Telkom branch to ask why, and it was said to me that those are for the transfer of the line. Additionally there is also a technical fault which I did report, and they sent out 2 technicians at separate times to fix this, and my whole line is still dead, no internet or landline, which also means phoning 10210 for any support is extremely expensive because it has to be done from a cell phone. They are now, after 2 weeks of not having internet already, threatening to suspend my line if I don't pay the service fees which has put my account in arrears. The account inquiry has also been logged telephonically and the staff at the branch say it can take up to 2 weeks for them to get back to me. Please help!!!
