This is a 2nd complain about same account. One Friday afternoon my account was suspended and when I called MTN they told me that "I called to suspend the account because I lost the phone" I advised them that I didn't call MTN. I also asked them if they didn't verify the caller and they said they don't do security validation for suspension.
I was asked to create security PIN as I didn't had one. I did. On Friday 16th August afternoon I tried to make a call and find that my account was suspended. I called MTN and they said I called to suspend the account and I said I never called MTN. Till this day my line is still suspended and I'm not calling them again. All I want at this point is to cancel this contract as I didn't sign up for this... service i'm getting. I called cancellation dept and spoke to gentleman named Joaher du plessi, he quoted me settlement amount and I said I won't pay because I'm not happy with the service. reference number is : 103140194.
I'm not calling MTN ever. I am frustrated and don't want their services anymore as they have proved in numerous occasions to be incompetent and unprofessional and not caring for customers. PLEASE PLEASE HELP!
