So here is the back story... Cancelled my CellC contract after 3 days because they couldn't port my number. When I sent the phone back, I realised that I didn't put the charger in the phone's box. I hoped (in vain!) that when they realised it was not there, they would phone me and tell me to post it at my own cost, or drop it off at any CellC shop, which I would have been fine with. However, no correspondence from Cell C for a week, I phoned about 10 times to hear what the problem is. Every time I was told that returns department could not tell them why it hasn't been cancelled, and that they will put a note on the system (currently have 3 reference numbers!). After complaining on Hellopeter, someone from Cell C phoned and told me the charger was not in the box. I said "great, this I knew, but no one could confirm it! Send someone to fetch it or can I drop it off at a shop? ". The person said he will get back to me. That took a week... Today (27/08/13, 6 weeks after trying to cancel contract) someone phones me and says the contract cannot be cancelled because the OWP (or something) has expired. So now the phone is getting sent back to me, or I have to pay R1200! Unacceptable!!!
