MTN and SAMSUNG not any help

I updated the software on my Samsung S2 on 19 August. After the software downloaded, my internet stopped and I could not use my mobile network. I phoned MTN and they advised me to add a new APN, this didnt work. I was then told to go instore to MTN, the Stellenbosch branch in Eikestad Mall told me I would have to get a new sim. After speaking to technical help, they told me that changing my sim was not a guranteed solution and thus I did not get a new sim. I carried on to speak to MTN's technical help on from Monday through to Friday and they said that they were waiting on Samsung on how to fix the problem. After MTN could not assist me in a solution I decided to contact Samsung directly. The person to whom I spoke could not assist me and thus I resorted to speaking to an online agent who instructed me to go to the Samsung Store in Canal Walk. I did so on Saterday, 24 August and Samsung could not help me saying that it was not their problem but MTN's. So I went to the MTN store in Canal Walk and I was disgusted with the manner I was treated by two MTN workers. As to say, my phone's network is still not working and I am waiting on an answer from MTN or Samsung on what to do...
