For the past 2 months I get the same reply to a complaint as to the reason why I do not enjoy internet access after approximately 8PM. I am a Vodago user and the deal was R 59.00 per month for unlimited internet access. Or so was the sales talk when I bought a Blackberry. This worked pretty well for about 2 years. Whether I visit the service provider at the Somerset Mall outlet to find the reasons for the disrupted service, or complain online - I get, what I consider a generic response - "we are working on it." Or more precisely: "our network enineers are currently busy with upgrades in your area This may result in disruption of service" - as advised per sms by the Vodacom Customer Care (a contradiction in terms... customer care???). What does that mean? Does it take 2 month's to upgrade? Do the enigeneers only work night shift? Daytime internet access is fine. If Vodacom really cares about customers, honouring agreements and good service - customers should have been forwarned, advised in detail exactly what the "upgrades" mean/entail, and how long the expected "disruption of service" will be. If that deadline cannot ne met - customers should be advised.
