Cannot conect to the Internet, no data transfer possible. Vodacom Call Centre state that the BTS is down and needs to be replaced as it is "old". This is a major tourist area with 4 large resorts, many B&Bs and a massive residential area. The network cannot handle the volume of calls/data demands therefore browsing is impossible, email transmission virtually impossible. Vodacom Call Centre chap says the BTS cannot be repaired until the municipality gives the go-ahead. WHAT??? Sounds like a poor excuse. Get on with it Vodacom, how dare you charge us these ridiculously high rates when you cannot provide us with a service. I have 6 contracts and pay a premium monthly rate for ZERO service.
