I complained to Vodacom about no coverage at my residence. I was advised that new towers will be put up in the next year in my area (what am I suppose to do in the meantime???). On 7 August the data department went out to check the signal. Later in August I requested my contracts to be cancelled and the cancellation fee waived. Only to be advised that they will need to log a call with the data department to investigate the poor coverage (which was already done on 7 August!!). I was also advised that this should take about 2 days and I will be infomred of the outcome and will be contacted by cancellations department. This is now nearly 2 weeks and still NO feedback. I tried on numerous occasions to contact the cancellations department but the calls keep dropping even if I am driving because of Vodacom's PATHETIC network coverage once again!!! The service from Vodacom is just shocking, not even to mention the poor network coverage and constant dropping of calls. My partener is with MTN and never has a problem with coverage or service. Please stay away from Vodacom if you want a reliable and stable network and if client service is one of your requirements from a service provider!!
