Phone exceeds limit

My contract phone get and the account ran up to R1008.24 in two days, without Nashua lock the phone. The limit always wasR350. Now they tel me they send me a sms in September 2013 notify me that they will lift the limit to R700.00 if i did not respond on the sms. I dont know of such a sms. Now they want me to pay the full amount before unlock the phone.
