Virgin call centres utterly useless

My contract ends in september (next month). I called the call centre to confirm this. I was told that i was wrong and that it actually ends in april next year. I got off the phone and checked an email i had received that confirmed that it ends in september. I called them back and explained about the email and was told continually that i was wrong. I got my father (the account is in his name) to call and they told him that the contract ends in september without a fuss. I am angry that the people at the call centre are either terribly informed or blatantly lie.
