I am currently in arrears with my vodacom account because I was not informed that an early cancellation fee does not include the month's invoice, The first time I called about this I was told if by a lady by the name of Gift that if I was not informed of this on the recording, they will write off the arrears amount. Gift has since then proved untraceable and I had to speak to a new call centre agent every time. After speaking to about 20 different people and reporting them to ICASA, I was told sorry, even if I was not informed on the recording (which they cannot provide me with anyway) it is in fine print on the quotation for the early cancellation and I need to pay. no effort was made to come back to me on this, I had to phone every time and I was treated like a number and a nuisance. Vodacom did NOTHING to try and accommodate me or meet me halfway. I was told to pay so sad too bad!! I have been a vodacom client for many years but I will not be much longer thanks to their attitude.
