8Ta/Telkom Mobile Support Does Not Exist?

I use my 8ta 3g connection mostly for battlefield 3. Have been for almost 1000 hours (logged). Never have I had any problems till almost 3 weeks ago. I first took the matter up with EA/DICE to see if the problem was not on their side. They have taken me through some serious troubleshooting to a point where they assured me the problem must be my ISP.

I contacted 8ta recently (Ref. Nr 6567604). First the consultant established if I was in a coverage area regardless of having used this for many months now. It was established I was in the footprint and then asked me what I have done to troubleshoot. I named a list of things done.

The consultant then said the matter will be taken further and gave me the above mentioned Ref. Nr.

Up to now no-one bothered to come back to me to say, "Hey fool, how can we help? ". 8ta was good when it worked but when you need help, they will be as silent as the master of a slave.

I recently just bought a Cell C sim, popped a few coin on the card, bought some data and low and behold BF3 works. So yes, it is not my machine nor EA/DICE.

Sad part is, I have recently bought the 60gig 60gig for R1800 which is good for nothing now due to lack of ANY support.
