Cancellation of contract

Hi
I have been trying to cancel my contract for about a month now. Everytime I try to phone, I get sent to about 5 different departments, who then make a note on the system etc. and tell me someone will get back to me in 48 hours (more like 48 years!).
Reason I was cancelling in the first place was because they couldn't port my old MTN number, even after I was promised in the beginning it would be done. Thus the TV adds are misleading and false advertising...
This was Cell C's first and last time t otake me away from MTN (who I never had a problem with for 12 years)!
