Request to have line moved to new premises

2 weeks ago I requested that our landline with ADSL line be moved to our new house. I was advised that line would be moved on the 12th. When calling on Monday the 12/08/2013 to find out what time installation of phone would be I was told there is no request!!! Why was I even surprised. So we have now had to re-request and after numerous calls we keep getting told that a new order needs to be placed. Service is pathetic and unacceptable. Why don't they employ agents that can actually do their jobs and why does Telkom that spends millions on advertising rather spend their money on their systems and staff training so that they can actually try and offer a service they can be proud of. Reference for our requests are as follows. 83729337a, 83873643a. After all the calls and visiting the branches know one can still advise of when we can expect our line to be moved! Frustrated is not the word. Why is South African service of such a huge company so shocking???!!!
