No SIM Card yet. Poor service

When it was time for my upgrade on 1 August, I took a look at other service providers, but decided to stick with Vodacom, because of the many, many years of good service I have had with them.

All of the good service was short lived this time.

I phoned Upgrades on Thursday 1 August and very excitedly took delivery of my new iPhone 5 on Monday 5 August, only to discover that they had delivered the wrong SIM card. I promptly phoned Upgrades, and I was told that correct SIM will be delivered in 3-7 days.

Their mistake but I have to wait another week.

By 13 August, still no SIM!!! I again phoned Upgrades, only to be told that the request for a new SIM, was submitted to the wrong department and I will have to wait another 2 days for delivery.

This morning, 14 August, I phoned Upgrades again, to make sure everything was on track, only to find out that the request from the 13th had not been actioned and I would have to wait another 2 days. I wasted 30 min on the phone this time round.

I was refused the opportunity to talk to a manager.

Such incompetence!!

Do I now wait another 2 days for failed delivery?

I have 3 other Vodacom contracts, which I will not be renewing with Vodacom.
