Shocking Customer Service!!

On Monday the 29th of July I made use of the Vodacom Telephonic Upgrade service (0821959). Ordered my new iPhone 5 and was told my new phone would be delivered to me withing 3 to 5 working days. This suited me.

However on Thursday the 1st of August I made another call to the Vodacom Telephonic Upgrade service (0821959) to find out when I could expect delivery but instead I was told "Sorry Ma'am, the phone you ordered is out of stock and we don't know when we will be receiving new stock." I decided to order the bigger iPhone 5. Let me point out at this point Vodacom was not prepared to offer me any kind of compensation for the lack of service I had received. I will definitely receive my phone within the next 7 working days.

Today August 2nd I was able to get in to a Vodacom outlet where I could upgrade my contract and walk out with desired iPhone. I made yet another call to the Vodacom Telephonic Upgrade service (0821959) to request they cancel my order and upgrade. After Numerous calls i was told the only way this could be done would take up to 19 days.
No effort was made to fix their error or compensate the customer

Totally disgusted. Will cancel all contracts immediately.
