And yet nobody is willing to assist

I discovered on the 31st of July that I have been a victim of identiy through the 8ta (telkom mobile) store at The Glen shopping centre in Johannesburg. I contacted the call centre to report the incident and was given the run around. Eventually i was given a case reference number (6452589).

I was then told that I need to go through to ANY 8ta telkom store and was advised that i can go through to Cresta (which was the closest for me), and take a police case number / affidavit and my ID book.

On arriving at the 8ta store in Cresta on the 1st of August 2013, i was then told i need bank statements, proof of address and i must go through to The Glen shopping centre, as that was where the accounts were opened.

I then went through to The Glen, they took my documents and said it will be faxed through. I have called in excess of six times and i just get no feedback or joy. What a disgrace that a account can be opened in a persons name, and yet the company (8ta) is not willing to assist or provide any feedback on this matter. Messages are left for the team leader, yet still no phone call. Emails are sent yet still no reply?
