I went into the flagship MTN store at Century City to upgrade my wife's cellphone and get data transferred from the old phone to the new one. The MTN consultant was embarrassingly ignorant of the features of the new cellphone I was interested in. Furthermore, even though I asked the consultant about withdrwal and re-instatement of the BIS service, she was was not forthcoming to give any advice about the pros and cons on subscribing to BIS. Also, the consultant advised that only contacts could be transferred to the new handset, which I later found out to be incorrect.

In summary, the consultant was not knowledgeable, but was not interested to find out when I asked relevant questions she thought she knew but evidently did not.

I now sit with a problem with possible lost data which is totally unacceptable.
