Conflicting info from Consultants & Incorrect Bill

During November 2012, I cancelled the BIS service and added a data bundle. During the conversation with the consultant who assisted, i suggested that a 500mb bundle would probably be sufficient but the consultant advised that MTN are running a special and would give me a 1GB data bundle at the special price of R99 and would be available until the end of February 2013. I agreed and the call concluded. After being billed that month, i found that not only had i been charged twice for the data bundle but i was charged the full price. When i called to follow up, the customer service consultant advised that is no such special running at that time. I terminated the call confused. A few days later i called again to query what was going on and was advised by a different consultant that there was indeed a special on a 1Gb data bundle and was not sure why i had been billed the full amount. The consultant proceeded to escalate the matter. Its a 2 months later and I again had to follow up on the query. The fourth consultant i spoke to about this advised that there is no such special and that the query will again be escalated. It seems that escalation means nothing and time is of no value.
