I went to Vodacom in Brooklyn mall yesterday morning to port my number to Vodacom. Hope told me to wait until the MTN simcard stops working then I must insert the new Vodacom sim. I waited until today and nothing happened. Today I went back to the shop to get an update. She promised me that it will be ported during the afternoon. Still no progress. I am still on MTN. On the website they say it happens in 24 hours. It is already 31 hours. That is absolutely not acceptable. If this is how you treat new customers I will never even consider taking out a contract with you guys! I am really considering to stop the porting process and go to another service provider.
