No response regarding cancelled contract

I have contacted Vodacom and enquired about a cell phone upgrade as Im disatisfied with current package. I advised that I was willing to pay the penalty fee and that wanted to remain with Vodacom as I am a customer for almost a decade. I was advised that since my monthly expenditure does not exceed R800, for the number, that I was not eligible inspite of the fact that my other Vodacom contract exceeds this amount monthly. I have since filled in my documents to cancel the contract on Sunday evening and am still, after 48 hours, have not got feedback or cancellation. I am completely disatisfied with the service and will be moving away from the network altogether. I will be retaining my number.
