I received my May statement for my data stick in June like always. It works on a month backpay system. I thought the amount was weird this month and when I opened it- it said R800 and something rand. This was extremely strange seeing as I have never received a bill more than the actual amount of R189, what the stick costs per month.

I then inquired on Facebook asking friends, and somehow 5 had the exact same problem that month. I then contacted MTN, first their lines where down for more than a hour. I was then told they will log the problem and it will take 8 to 10 days. These days passed and no reply. When I received a reply by several different people, I was told:

1. Have you tried the data helpline (more than 15 days into the waiting game)
2. We have sent you the detailed bill (umm NO!)
3. We cant tell you what websites you went on or what you downloaded!)
4. And then some no replies.

I then tweeted- and got a reply to DM my nr so that they will call me. Still waiting on feedback.

So I would like to know, if you cant tell me what sites I went on or what I downloaded- I must just trust you?
